Our course of study is structured into three tiers, each one building upon the previous.  All levels include periodic private tutorials.  In addition, unlimited private coaching for auditions is available, free of charge.

 

 

LEVEL ONE “Onstage Technique”

 

Frequency:  Twice Weekly

 

Duration:  Approximately 6 Months

These three concepts provide the foundation for a practical and effective technique.  One class every week explores these concepts through different types of improvisational exercises.  The second class each week explores them through work upon assigned scenes.

 

 

LEVEL TWO “Work Upon The Part”

 

Frequency:  Twice Weekly

 

Duration:  Approximately 6 Months

 

Level Two is an introduction to Michael Chekhov’s “Five Ways Of Rehearsal”:

CHARACTER AND CHARACTERIZATION

 

The beauty of these approaches lies in their simplicity and practicality. Each of them is given approximately one month of focus during the 6 month course of study.

 

 

LEVEL THREE “The Lab”

 

Frequency:  Once Weekly

 

Duration:  Ongoing

 

A laboratory focusing, variously, upon:

 

THE CONTINUING DEVELOPMENT AND MAINTENANCE OF AN ACTOR’S SKILL

 

THE IMPROVEMENT OF AUDITION TECHNIQUE

 

THE CONTINUED EXPANSION OF ONE’S CREATIVE INDIVIDUALITY

 

An interview is required prior to enrollment.

 

In addition to the above curriculum,

ongoing private tutorials are available at an additional cost.
